Due to Thursday night’s weather, the city’s annual fireworks display has been rescheduled for 9:30 p.m. Friday at Orchards Park.

A Facebook post from the city suggests pairing the rescheduled fireworks with First Friday, which is scheduled for 3-9 p.m.

The theme for this First Friday is “A Salute to Service” and the event is dedicated to “the brave men and women who serve our communities both locally and abroad,” according to Downtown Bentonville Incorporated.

In addition to the standard vendors, food and drink options, and live music, tomorrow’s First Friday will also feature:

  • A Mustang Flyover at 5 p.m.

  • Appearances by members of the U.S. Armed Forces, military veterans, law enforcement officers and firefighters.

  • Multiple veteran-owned businesses.
