Two new exhibits are coming to Bentonville this fall:

Get in the Game: Sports, Art, Culture

Get in the Game features more than 150 works of art that explore how athletes — from the Olympics to local rec leagues — have influenced culture and innovation.

The show includes paintings, sculptures, photographs, sports equipment and apparel, videos, and interactive installations.

Originally curated by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the exhibition will be on view from September 13 through January 26, 2026.

Wildlife Photographs

Standout photographs from 115 years of National Geographic history, including the first image ever published in the magazine, will be on view at the Momentary from November 22 to June 7, 2026.

In addition to spotlighting a wide range of animals and their behavior, The Greatest Wildlife Photographs will explore the evolution of photography and how tools like camera traps, remote imaging, and underwater technology have helped photographers document wildlife in natural habitats.

Additionally, Time Loop by Klip Collective: A Forest Light Experience will return to Crystal Bridges this fall, and after a temporary pause, The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press will reopen at the Momentary in May. A new permanent gallery opened earlier this month with both new acquisitions and previously displayed pieces.
