About 15,000 cars pass through the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 279 on an average day. Officials are proposing a two-lane roundabout with dual left turns and roadway approach improvements, along with drainage and sidewalk improvements.

A drop-in meeting will be held Thursday, June 26, at the Bentonville Municipal Building, 3200 SW Municipal Drive. Staff will be available to answer questions, and a public comment period to collect resident feedback will open the same day, according to the website for the project.
