Six Bentonville Homes Sold for Over $1 Million in August

So far this year, 84 houses have sold for $1 million or more in Bentonville, according to The Bentonville Bulletin’s analysis of sales data. In August, six such sales were recorded.

A decade ago, homes at this price in Bentonville were a rarity. In 2015, only two sales within the city limits reached $1 million or more.

Some disclaimers: This list covers homes within Bentonville city limits only, not the broader region. The analysis relies on data reported by the Benton County assessor. Some surrounding properties may have Bentonville mailing addresses but are not located within the city itself. Multifamily housing and purchases involving multiple residences are excluded.

No. 1: 703 SW O St ($1,680,000)

This 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom Craftsman-style home offers 3,589 square feet of living space and backs up directly to the 8th Street Gateway Park that’s scheduled to open next year.

In just a few minutes, the new owners could be in downtown Bentonville. But when they’re home, they’ll be in a world of their own on this 5 acre estate.

The listing even suggested the possibility of keeping a few horses. The home is filled with custom details throughout — zoom in on the fireplace photos for proof.

No. 2: 2 Canterbury Park ($1,358,000)

This 5-bed, 6-bath home in the prestigious Hanover neighborhood leaves little to be desired, though the landscaping and koi pond in the back might be the most memorable details.

No. 3: 1503 NE Chapel Hill Dr. ($1,200,000)

As you may have guessed from the address, this 4-bed, 5-bath home is in the Chapel Hill subdivision near Crystal Bridges. Listing highlights include a fireplace in the primary bedroom suite, a heated pool, and a dedicated wing of the house for kids, complete with its own A/C system.

No. 4: 1801 El Contento Circle ($1,195,000)

This 3-bed, 4-bath, 3,147-square-foot home was built in 1992 but thoroughly remodeled, and it’s not like 23-foot ceilings ever go out of style. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom, and the den area—with its walls and ceiling painted black—definitely catches the eye.

No. 5: 502 SE C St. ($1,175,000)

This modern townhome offers a different style of living than the other homes on this month’s list, with a smaller footprint in a more walkable community. With 3 beds, 3 baths, and 2,358 square feet, it sits just two blocks from the Momentary.
