Hi there,

I frequently write about decisions made by the City Council, but also…

What even is that? Who are these people? Is it the mayor making decisions around here, or the City Council? Who do we complain to if we don’t like how something is going?

I made a guide to explain how things work. If you have questions after reading, please email back and ask. If you’re wondering about something, chances are somebody else is, too.

Are Your Mornings Really Complete Without Coffee Bean?

Someone please adopt Coffee Bean!

Or “Beanie Baby,” as he is sometimes called. ☺️

He is such a loving, gentle boy, 8 years old and looking for a family and a home of his own!

Coffee Bean walks nicely on a leash, and is friendly with adults and teens. He loves to watch the world go by on a car ride, or through the window in a home. He’s a big fan of slow-paced “sniffaris”, lying in the sun on warm concrete, and playing with his stuffies.

This sweet boy has seen some rough times, but he’s still a love bug, and he’s ready to go home with his new people!
