Benton County Alert

Benton County Alert is a county-operated system that provides emergency and severe weather notifications via email, text message, and phone call.

Weather alerts are tailored to your specific address, so you’ll only receive them if you add an address to your profile. You can add multiple addresses, such as your home and work locations.

Other notification options include burn bans, government office closings, road closures, boil orders, and active shooter alerts.

Phone calls come from 479-271-5738. Email alerts are sent from “BCAlert” with [email protected] as the email address. Text messages will come from 65513.

Broadcast News Stations

With teams of in-house meteorologists, local broadcast stations are the best sources for detailed, live coverage of severe weather events.

  • KNWA offers free online livestreams during severe weather events.

  • KNWA, 40/29 News, and 5 News all have free apps with weather alerts.
