YT Industries, a German mountain bike company, has opened a showroom at 306 S. Main Street, next to The Ledger.

This is the company’s second showroom in the United States, with the first located in San Clemente, California.

Bentonville’s growing cycling scene attracted the company to build a YT Mill here.

“Overall, we see Bentonville as a strategic location with a combination of a thriving cycling community, supportive infrastructure, and economic opportunities,” Tanner Williams, marketing and PR coordinator for YT Industries USA, said.

The two-story YT Mill includes a lounge area with complimentary drinks and entertainment, a workshop dedicated to bike builds and maintenance, and an e-bike battery rental program for bikers traveling with the company’s Decoy electric bicycles.

There is also an in-house tattoo station that will be open during special events.

The showroom features a range of bike displays, with prices starting at around $1,000 and going up to about $8,000 for the advanced models.

Bikers can demo bikes before purchasing them, free of charge, for up to two hours.

“The YT Mills are more than just demo centers – they are immersive brand experience centers meant to elevate, educate and engage the mountain bike community,” Jeff Taylor, president of YT Industries USA, said in a press release.

The YT Mill will host its ribbon cutting ceremony tomorrow at 10 A.M. A grand opening party that evening will include a concert from rapper Jeru the Damaja, tattoo sessions, and appearances from mountain biking athletes.
