From state titles to national stages, Bentonville High School and Bentonville West High School stacked up multiple wins this past school year.
Bentonville Schools Director of Athletics Billy Tipps called it "an outstanding year," while Visual and Performing Arts Director Matthew Peoples said the district has "some of the most dedicated and skilled student artists in the nation."
Check out these highlights from the recently concluded 2025-26 school year:
Bentonville High Dance won national title
The team captured the UDA National Dance Team Championship (NDTC) title, a feat that Tipps described as "an incredible accomplishment with a compelling story of dedication, teamwork and excellence."
Bentonville High secured a dozen state athletics titles
The Tigers brought home state championships in Girls Cross Country, Boys Cross Country, Boys Wrestling, Dance, Boys Track and Field, Girls Track and Field, Softball, Boys Soccer, Girls Swimming and Diving, Boys Swimming and Diving, Lacrosse and Boys Dual State Wrestling.
Football and Cheer both earned runner-up finishes.
Bentonville West athletics earned state runner-up three times
The Wolverines were state runners-up in Boys Cross Country, Girls Soccer and Boys Track and Field.
Bentonville Pride capped its season with a state title

Bentonville High School won the State Marching Contest, in addition to being a finalist at the 2025 Bands of America Grand Nationals in Indianapolis.
Bentonville High choirs captured multiple Best in Class honors

The Chamber Choir earned Best in Class for 7A Medium Mixed Chorus and Overall Best in Class for 7A Medium Choruses. The A Cappella took Best in Class for 7A Large Mixed Chorus and Overall Best in Class for 7A Large Choruses.
Bentonville West Girls Basketball made history

The BWHS Girls Basketball program posted a record number of wins and its deepest state playoff run in program history, reaching the semifinals.
Wind Ensemble took state concert crown
The BHS Wind Ensemble was named the Arkansas School Band and Orchestra Association Class 7A Honor Band and placed 1st Overall at the Arkansas State Concert Contest.
