Hi there,

The Bentonville location of Written By The Seasons, a Michelin-recommended restaurant with two locations in Texas, is now open.

UPDATE: Written By The Seasons Restaurant Now Open in Bentonville

The restaurant has earned back-to-back recommendations from the Michelin Guide as one of the best in Dallas.

Currently in a soft launch phase, it's serving dinner five days a week and will eventually expand hours to include lunch as well.

Live in Bentonville? Your Home Could Be Rezoned This Week

A mass rezoning of much of Bentonville, along with an entirely new development code, could be approved by the City Council on Tuesday.

Among the biggest changes: new zoning districts.

The city created a guide showing how each property’s current zoning would translate to the new system. Most properties would be transitioned to a zoning district with similar rules about what can be built, but some areas would see meaningful changes.

Bentonville Got $239 Million in Financing for Sewer Upgrades. Now What?

With $239 million in financing secured from the Alice L. Walton Foundation, the city of Bentonville is starting work on a massive overhaul of the sewer system.

Development was previously paused in several areas of town due to concerns about sewer capacity. Now, developers can start building again, but with a catch.

What Is That Thing?

A curious spectacle has been observed on local streets in recent weeks: a man riding a bicycle with two wildly mismatched wheels — one more than four feet in diameter and the other much, much smaller.

That contraption, it turns out, is a “penny-farthing,” and the man atop it is local resident Chuck Cates.

The odd bicycle prompts questions from nearly everyone who sees it. The Bentonville Bulletin asked a few of them on your behalf.
