The New Plan for Growing Bentonville's Economy

The Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce teased a new economic development strategy last week that focuses on improving infrastructure, growing the retail tax base, and maximizing the impact of investments that have already been made in the area.
Sponsor Message from Monarch Dental

As 2025 begins to wind down, Monarch Dental & Orthodontics in Bentonville reminds patients that most dental insurance benefits reset at the end of the year.
Now is the perfect time to complete any outstanding dental treatments and maximize your coverage before it renews.
If you’ve been delaying care - whether routine cleaning, crowns, implants, or dentures - scheduling before December 31 can help you make full use of the benefits you’ve already paid for. Regular dental visits not only protect your oral health but can also help you avoid larger, more costly treatments later.
Appointments fill up quickly as the year ends. To schedule your visit, call us at (479) 259-9130 or schedule online at Monarch Dental & Orthodontics.
Bentonville Is a Growing Hub for ... DJs?

An unexpected yet vibrant DJ culture has popped off in Bentonville, fueled by a growing community of artists, referred to casually as a DJ collective.
Many of the Bentonville-based DJs have shows on Bentonville Community Radio (103.3 KOBV) and regularly play at Loveless Cocktail Club downtown and Backroom Social Club in Springdale.
They also take part in “live ambient music” nights hosted by KOBV. Normally, these events take place outside the radio station’s retrofitted shipping-container studio near The Momentary.
What You Need to Know About Next Year’s City Budget

It’s that time of year when the city administration finalizes the budget for next year.
Due to an apparent flatlining of sales tax revenue, it could be a lean few years for the city.
New Project Aims to Offer Affordable Downtown Space for Local Vendors

A new “micro-retail” project could give small local businesses the opportunity to build a presence in Bentonville’s trendy — and expensive — downtown.
As currently envisioned, The Block could accommodate up to 100 vendors across two options: 35-square-foot booths for an estimated $500 per month, and smaller 16-square-foot blocks for $250 per month.
